Product Details

Purchase a tote bag featuring the photograph "Bliss" by Darlene Bushue.   Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

Artist's Description

Not sure what it is about Moraine Lake, aka Valley of the Ten Peaks, but just being there brings such a sense of peace and tranquility. Early in the morning and later in the day, the crowds thin out, the winds die down, the water calms, and some of the most amazing reflections appear, doubling the natural beauty of this already breathtaking spot. We have never visited in the evening before but decided to check it out on this particular day, and I was really glad we did. The skies were threatening rain, thunder was rolling in the distance, but there were just enough breaks in the clouds to light up the peaks for a minute or two. Pure Canadian Rockies bliss.

Many years ago, we visited the Canadian Rockies, and we instantly fell in love with what the mountains have to offer, from breathtaking scenery to countless wildlife opportunities. I remember traveling through a small town in British Columbia, Radium Hot Springs, where the sign that welcomes you to town says, “Mountains bring peace to the people.”. That quote and John Muir’s quote, “The mountains are calling and I must go” have resonated with me ever since.
